The high Sun Protection Factor (SPF 30 in the USA, which is equivalent to SPF 16 european measurement scale) inhibites the tanning. It contains microfine pigments which acts as a barrier and gives a light tint to the skin. The colour of the tint is suitable for all skin tones.
